Ingredients

For about 30 pastries (5/6 cm diameter):

  • 1 sheet butter puff pastry
  • 2 apples
  • 30 g brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • A small handful of raisins
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten (for brushing)
  • Powdered sugar (for decoration)Β 

Procedure

🍏 Preheat oven to 185°C (365°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
🍎 Cut circles of 5–6 cm diameter from the puff pastry. Place on the sheet.
🍏 Fold in the edges slightly to form a raised rim.
🍎 Peel and dice the apple. Mix with brown sugar, raisins, and cinnamon.
🍏 Spoon about 1 tsp of filling into the center of each pastry.
🍎 Brush edges with the beaten egg.
🍏 Bake for 18–20 minutes, until puffed and golden.
