PAN-SEAR MARINATED SWORDFISH STEAKS WITH MIXED VEGGIES

Can’t believe it: It’s already 7 years than I’m a pescatarian 🐟 When I stopped eating meat back in 2014, it happened quite naturally as I have never been a big fan of meat. But i couldn’t stop eating fish, because I simply love it 💙
Fish is so healthy and versatile to cook that I have never enough of it 😋
And sometimes, I like to give myself a treat by preparing some more special #recipes, like this super yummy and easy PAN-SEAR MARINATED SWORDFISH STEAKS served with mixed veggies

Ingredients (for 2 people)

2 swordfish steaks (about 150gr each)
Your favorite veggie sides

For the marinade:
1 lemon juice
2 tbs olive oil
1 chopped garlic glove
1/2 orange zest
1 tsp basil (dried)
1 tsp parsley
1 tsp dill
Salt to taste

Procedure

Mix all ingredients for the marinade in a large plate. Then, place the swordfish steaks in the marinate, coat well on both side, and let it rest for at 30 minutes in the fridge. Once ready, heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear the swordfish steaks until browned on both sides.
Ready!

I had my swordfish steak served on a thin layer of iceberg salad and, as veggie sides, baked-in-the-oven potatoes and courgettes (cooked in a pan with some seasonal herbs).
