Usually I don’t buy cake mixes because I prefer to have control over the ingredients I choose for my baking. But we are in exceptional times in which finding even basic goods (e.g., all purpose flour & baking powder) at the grocery store can be the real #challenge
When I ordered my grocery online and I saw this mix for a quark cake with “75% less fat” and needing only 3 additional ingredients, I decided to give it a try. Plus, my fridge never lacks of quark and I had some lemon to use so I came up with a nice fruity variation 🍋🍋🍋

Ingredients for a cake (about 17/18 servings): 1 pack of mix for quark cake (I used Koopmans’), 200 gr low-fat lactose free quark, 3 eggs, 1 lemon zest.
Procedure: Mix all ingredients and cook the cake (200°) for 45/60 minutes (depending on the oven).
MyFitnessPal macros (per 1 serving): 116 cal, 2 fat, 19 carb, 5 protein.
